ABSTRACT FLORAL ART SHELFIES

New abstract floral art will be available in time for Mother’s Day.

I already have new archival prints in my shop and a collection of original minis will be available at the end of April.

These original abstract art floral minis are painted on 4 x 4 gallery depth canvases. They look great on a bookshelf and I’m playing around with the option of hanging with a ribbon like my Christmas ornaments.

I’ve also created a mini collection of four abstract floral paintings and made archival prints on heavyweight watercolor paper with a beautiful deckled edge. They are a standard 14 x 11 size and ready to pop into a standard sized frame.

My mom was a florist, working with a family friend in their floral shop. I always loved the way it smelled when I walked in the door. It was a place I felt loved and surrounded by beauty. During their busy seasons, such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, I would help out by delivering flowers after school. It was a great job because people were always happy to see you.

This little collection of abstract florals is in honor of my flower-loving mama. It’s been a long winter for her, and this symbol of spring is especially welcome. Enjoy.
