BAREFOOT LIVING™: A NEW VENTURE.

I’ve got a secret to share with you…..and I’m excited that it’s finally about ready to launch. I’ve partnered with my older son Matthew in a new venture called Barefoot Living™. Our pursuit is simple: express great coastal design in a way that makes your home feel like a getaway.

Barefoot Living™ will offer four art collections of small coastal originals and archival prints on our new website, launching on Friday, March 17.

Each Barefoot Living™ collection contains small original works in various sizes, painted on gallery-depth canvas. Every series includes minis, ‘shelfie sizes’ to sit on a bookshelf, and small canvases for hanging. We also narrowed down some of our favorite paintings and selected 20 works for our archival print collection.

In addition to these new art collections, we’ll share our favorite beach accesses, restaurants, rooftop bars, travel guides, and anything else we find interesting in our coastal journey.

Each Barefoot Living™ art collection is inspired by a story, an emotion that stirs us. Whether it’s a special memory or a particular place, enjoying an evening cocktail on a rooftop with old friends, spending the day on a boat, or taking a morning run on the beach. We put our hearts and souls into Barefoot Living™, carefully curating each collection to mean something.

Our new venture combines our passion for great art and design, our love of the beach, and our yearning for travel. Our mission is to express an authentic, coastal lifestyle, and we love spaces that feel timeless and stylish yet laid-back and comfortable.

So, how did this new venture become a reality? 

This Barefoot Living™ venture began with art inspired by lots of summers at the beach. And now I can’t stop painting coastal art. This new venture is a way to make my coastal art accessible at various prices and on a small collection of products. We’ve been working for months behind the scenes to make that happen. I’ve been painting, painting, painting. We’ve also taken tons of photos, written our vision for Barefoot Living™, designed our website, and curated a selection of archival prints. We’ve been researching and hope to add more coastal products in 2023. Let me know in the comments if there is any product you think would be a good fit for my art.

As many of you know, our lives took an unexpected turn last year, changing how we viewed our futures. After a lot of self-reflection, we have decided to embark upon this new venture while making our coastal dreams a reality. I will spend A LOT more time on the coast and am getting more comfortable telling my story through art and sharing my love for the coastal lifestyle.  

Our goal for Barefoot Living™ is to inspire and share all things coastal through art and writing. To do that, we plan on spending time in the places we love with the people we care about. Preferably outside near the water. Join us.
