EXPERIMENTING

I’ve hoped to spend some time experimenting with some new mediums. I bought these really saturated watercolor type inks and a new pad of Arches watercolor paper. I want to play a little. I also want to paint some churches. Back in September, I went on a trip with my mom. One of our tours included a beautiful drive through a small coastal community. I took pictures of the pretty little churches as we drove through each community. I’d like to paint them, but I need some time and space to experiment with actually creating the style that is in my head.

In the meantime, I’m grateful to be working on a really large commission and some art for licensing that I need to finish soon.
