MAKING ART POSTCARDS

We all have our gifts.

And I know I’d never make it as a nurse, or a daycare teacher or many of the other essential jobs. I don’t know how to sew (although mama tried), so I can’t make masks, but I’ve been thinking about what I could do, and I know this is a very small thing.

But if we each do a small thing, we can make the world a little better for someone. With so many of us sheltering in place, I’ve been thinking about those people that might be lonely, sick, recovering, or just isolated.

I’m making and sending out 30 art postcards this month. I’ve got a few painted already and the first one went to my mom. If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve may have seen my videos and photos using the hashtag #artpostcardsconnectus.

If you know someone who could use uplifting …even more than the rest of us, message me on Instagram with their name and mailing address. I’ll send them one too.
