On Failure…Drawings 23-30+

Well, I drew 30 drawings in 32 days…technically 35 I think.

Yes, I failed at this challenge.

I didn’t quite get them all finished and posted in 30 days. The drawings are not as bright nor as interesting as my 30 days of painting. However, the goal was to get myself back to a regular drawing habit.

You helped me be accountable.

Not as accountable as a REAL deadline, those I like. But I got it done, nevertheless.

What I learned?

I learned to get back to the basics. On a daily basis. That drawing for even a few minutes a day, in between carpool driving and dentist appointments can make a collection. They aren’t fancy or elaborate, but they are drawings. The beginning. Of something.

Stay tuned for what comes next, because I have a project I’m working on that involves all these drawings. I’ll fine-tune and possibly redraw these sketches, pop them into Adobe Illustrator and go to work making them bright and beautiful.

One step at a time.
