YOU CAN REALLY PAINT WITH A KNIFE?

A couple of weeks ago I took a terrific painting workshop with Leslie Saeta . I have followed her work and her radio show for quite a while now. Along with a group of very talented artists, we painted for three days using only a palette knife. No brushes. At all. I thought it would be loose and freeing, and in a way it was. Still, it was very hard to do! Yes, Leslie made it look so easy. It wasn’t. But it was SO much fun and inspired me to begin (again) trying to discipline myself to a regular painting schedule.  I’m planning on joining her in her 30 paintings in 30 days event in January. But until then, I just need to practice.
