WANDERLUST: a strong, innate desire to rove or travel about

The WANDERLUST COLLECTION is now available in my online shop. I’ve always thought that if I owned a boat I would name it ‘Wanderlust.’ This series was inspired by my love of travel and how it broadens our perspective. It takes me on a journey from coastal Carolina to the PCH. At least on canvas…Here are the details behind the inspiration.

It’s sort of different for me. Do I always say that?

Because there are trees in there…and most of them aren’t palm trees. Oh, and mountains too. A lot of different subject matters, which was fun. I think it is still cohesive as they’re all my brushstrokes!

Where will your wanderlust take you?

Each painting is painted on gallery depth canvas with mixed media, adding oil sticks, graphite, and pastels. They are all completed with a matte varnish, sides painted white, and wired to hang. There are sizes varying from 9″ x 12″ all the way up to 30″ x 30″.
